Philippe Reynaud was discovered in France and assembled around the world.  Aside from contributing editorial work for American-European and Latin-American publications, Reynaud has shot in the field of advertising.  He focuses on getting to know his subjects better in order to catch real and authentic moments in his photos while still perfecting his skills with the lens.  Inspiration for Reynaud flows from a compilation of his life experiences and extensive travels across the globe, including Asia, South America, the Middle East and Africa.  Playing with angles and composition, Reynaud expresses in his own evocative way the use of light and shadow, enhancing the graphic quality of his images. He also draws inspiration from a wide array of natural sources and classical paintings.   As a model and photographer, Reynaud has had the solid opportunity to work with the most talented photographers in the industry. These experiences have been key sources of learning and inspiration for him, helping to forge and develop his own ideas and concepts.  Reynaud is driven by the joy of capturing an idea, collaborating on a concept, bringing a character to life, and directing and action or emotion. He aspires to invite people into his world, to see it, judge it, and understand it. Using the camera as a creative outlet, it he captures images that function as representation of his vision and himself.  In 2006, Reynaud opened L. Gallery Studio in Tribeca and Union Square Studios four years later.  Currently, Reynaud spends his time between being in Manhattan, Paris and Brazil. He is frequently travelling to Europe on assignments or anywhere else his craft might take him.
